The sounds of the gondoliers shouting to each other and an overhead rescue helicopter made the paint a noisy one! The helicopter was practising their manoeuvres for rescue and at one point it came very low over our heads and blew our easels Sally lost her little table and solvent pot into the sea!
A challenging paint being contra jour and so close up and please with the silvery light effect on the water.
