Good to be home and painting on the Thames! Such a beautiful, crisp autumnal day, I really enjoyed it.
I used a limited palette mainly Blue-Green (Cerulean) & Red-Orange (Cadmiums) which are tertiary complimentary colours.
Useful to have a boat in the foreground for a stronger composition – there was actually two of them but took one out as it looked cluttered.
Used the big stretch of the Thames to add a feeling of space and distance.
