I have painted this view before, I like the strong silhouetted shape of the Cadogan Pier and Albert bridge framing the sunset. This time I used an underpainting which I did in the daytime en plein air. But it was such a drab grey day I decided to go back to the studio and use references of photos and previous paintings to help me finish the painting.
